Meet Troy Clancy

My name is Troy Clancy. I have been making fine jewellery by hand for over 30 years. I served my apprenticeship in Wagga Wagga and then spent two decades at the bench in Sydney.

Along the way I have had the privilege of making some remarkable pieces. In 2008 I designed and handcrafted the cross, chalice and communion plate for Pope Benedict XVI.

In 2024 I moved the studio to Burleigh Heads. I wanted a quieter, more personal way of working, where you sit down with the jeweller and not a salesperson.

What I Make

Custom engagement rings and wedding bands. Bespoke pieces designed from scratch. Family jewellery remodelled for a new generation. Repairs done properly. All of it is made in our Burleigh Heads workshop.

First Choice of New Diamonds

I have exclusive agreements with De Beers Sightholders. I see what is in cutting and polishing production up to three months in advance, and I get first option on those stones before they are offered to anyone else.

That means I can find the right diamond for your brief early, with GIA, HRD or Argyle certificates where the stone calls for it. You see the stones in the studio, under proper light, before you decide.

How I Work

The studio is by appointment, so you get my full attention. There is no hard sell and no jargon. I will tell you what I would do if the piece were mine, including when a smaller, better-cut stone is the better choice.

Your first design consultation is free. Many clients come back, and I have made pieces for the same families over many years.
