Meet Troy Clancy – Gold Coast Master Jeweller
My name is Troy Clancy, and for over 30 years I’ve dedicated my life to the art of fine jewellery.
What began as an apprenticeship in Sydney has grown into a lifelong passion for creating pieces that tell real stories — proposals, weddings, anniversaries, and cherished family heirlooms. After building a successful career in one of Australia’s most competitive jewellery markets, I made the decision to bring everything I’ve learned to the Gold Coast.
In 2024, I relocated my studio from Sydney to Burleigh Heads. I wanted to create a more personal, relaxed, and client-focused experience in a place I now proudly call home. The move wasn’t just about business — it was about building deeper connections with couples and families who value quality, craftsmanship, and genuine care.
From Sydney Workshops to the Gold Coast Studio
My journey started at the bench, learning traditional handcrafting techniques from master jewellers who had spent decades perfecting their skills. Over the years, I’ve worked on thousands of custom pieces — from intricate engagement rings to complex restorations. That hands-on experience taught me one important truth: the most meaningful jewellery isn’t just beautiful — it’s personal.
At Troy Clancy Jewellery, every piece that leaves our workshop carries that philosophy. Whether it’s a bespoke engagement ring designed from scratch, a family heirloom remodelled for a new generation, or a simple repair done with care, we treat each project as if it were our own.

One of the greatest advantages we offer our Gold Coast clients is access to one of Australia’s largest personal inventories — up to 190,000 certified diamonds. This includes rare Argyle pinks, fancy coloured diamonds, and exceptional white stones sourced directly through trusted De Beers DTC Sightholders.
Because we buy directly and cut out unnecessary middlemen, we can offer better quality and more competitive prices than most stores on the Gold Coast. You can view stones online or, better yet, visit our studio where we’ll sit down together and examine them under proper lighting.
